Elderberry Vinaigrette
Sweet and delicious. Whether you make your own Elderberry Syrup or purchase, this is a great wintertime salad dressing.
Don’t have elderberry syrup? Sub honey muddled with other fruit, like blueberries, pears, or cranberries.
Makes ~ 1/2 cup
INGREDIENTS
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1/8 cup Elderberry Syrup
- 1/4 teaspoon salt, to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
- In a small jar with a lid, add all Vinaigrette ingredients and shake well, until emulsified. Alternatively, mix ingredients in the bottom of your salad bowl before adding greens.
- Can keep covered in fridge for about a week.
- Use on your all of your favorite salads!
