Lovage 3″ pot

Lovage is a hardy perennial that tastes similar to celery, with a hint of parsley.  Related to both, you can eat Lovage leaves and stems.  Substitute in recipes that call for celery, or use the hollow stems as your straw for a Bloody Mary.  My mom had a lovage plant in the garden while I was growing up, and I remember it being this magical, towering giant that seemed almost tropical, and was a good snack.

• Plant height: up to 6.5 ft.
