We introduced Linden Blossom Honeybrew almost three years ago, in celebration of Ukrainian culture. We are humbled everyday in witness of the resilience of human cultures that, in the face of oppression and destruction, continue to strive towards self-determination and creation.

In the same way that honey in winter reminds us of returning blossoms, we hold on to hope, that most difficult of virtues, and gather the energy to act to preserve self-determination, culture, & tradition everywhere.

From our original release notes: “Flowers from the linden tree (“lypovyi tsvit” in Ukrainian) have a subtle honey-like aroma and delicate sweetness. Humming with bees, blossoming linden marks the arrival of July (“Lypen”). Carefully harvested and dried, the flowers become tea that soothes winter colds; a spoon of buttery linden honey instantly recalls warm summer memories. According to old Slavic traditions, linden trees can “feed you, clothe you, heal you”, and even lift curses.”
