Carrot, Turnip, and Apple Salad

Shredded raw carrots, salad turnips, and apples make a sweet and crunchy side salad. 

This is the perfect salad as a side to a burger or sandwich, or even added to tacos! 

 

Carrot, Turnip, and Apple Salad

Makes one small side salad for 2-4

INGREDIENTS

 

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In a medium sized salad bowl, mix together lemon juice, olive oil, spices, and sea salt.
  2. Remove tops from turnips and carrots and reserve another use.
  3. Rinse carrots, turnips, and apple and then shred using a grater, excluding apple core.  
  4. Add shredded carrots, apple, and turnips to salad bowl and toss to combine.
  5. Add chopped herbs and toss again.
  6. Serve and enjoy!

NOTES:

Feel free to add anything else in that you’d like!  This recipe is meant as a guide — substitute as needed!
