Sweetheart Soap Workshop

Learn the basics of cold process soap making with lard and essential oils from Madyson at Casa Cano Farms.  Casa Cano Farms uses farm-raised all natural lard to make soap, and there will also be a quick lesson on rendering and working with lard.   We will go through the steps of making cold process soap with lard, and then each of you will personalize your own soap with floral essential oils and rose kaolin clay, and take home your own soap mold with 6 mini hearts filled with soap.

WHAT TO BRING:

Please wear long sleeves for protection – cold process soap uses a caustic lye solution.  We will provide safety goggles and gloves, but if you have your own pair that you would prefer to wear,  please feel free to bring them.
