We are young, innovative farmers striving to push the boundaries of vegetable production and grow the freshest food for you and our Spokane community.
CasaCano Farms is a vegetable and livestock farm ten miles south of Downtown Spokane, WA. We grow 3 acres of vegetables, and recently expanded CasaCano Farms from our rented 6 acres on Windmill Drive to include 42 acres purchased with a USDA loan in Valleyford, WA. Our focus is on the health of the farm ecosystem. We incorporate pasture-raised livestock and intensive minimal-till vegetable production, resulting in better tasting and more nutritious food. We care about our community and our land, and use only organic methods for pest and weed control.
Madyson and Jorge both grew up in Spokane, WA. They gardened in their backyards, cultivated a passion for the environment, and gained inspiration to grow real food. Both earned B.A.'s in Environmental Studies focused in Sustainable Food and Farming from the University of Montana, and after several farming internships, moved back to Spokane to start CasaCano Farms in 2014. Their goal is to share their passion with Spokane's community, and can't wait to keep pushing the boundaries of what it means to be a small farm.
